No one can fathom of Catholic Cebuano’s faith. They celebrate more than feasting and partying. A million of devotees flock every third Sunday of January to praise and honor the holy image of the child Jesus. He is the core of the celebration for over four and a half centuries after His miraculous survival of a great parish fire. Its long and astonishing history is in the Gozos (Batobalani sa Gugma).
